The X-SD™ is an integrated muzzle device which is made up of 4 separate components. Going from chamber towards muzzle:
-Ported Barrel - The lifeblood of any gun, our barrels are machined, heat treated, and nitride coated all at the manufacturing facility. Featuring a 1:10 twist rate and length of 4.3", they're threaded to fit our Taper Adapter (NOT M18 THREADS) and designed to take a beating.
-Taper Adapter - This is what interfaces with the threads at the base of the barrel and houses the internal taper lock which seals the system.
Previously, this part was specific to each platform, however, we have made updates to allow the Scorpion/Nexus and AR9 models to use the same taper adapter. This change means that the ENTIRE shroud assembly is universal to these two platforms.
-Tube - This is the main body of the X-SD™. This part is pretty simple. We've honestly just been calling it "The Tube." This part is universal. It accepts any of the modules in either side.
As of Nov. 25th 2025, all Tubes will be bonded to the Taper Adapter with Rocksett prior to being packaged for sale.
-Threaded Modules - Sometimes called "thread adapters", these include our standard Bravo/HUB module and the Alpha module. Both Alpha and HUB modules are included in each kit.
Assembled, the X-SD™ can an overall length from the face of the receiver of 5.2" (HUB module) or 4.92" (Alpha module).

The tits
This thing is the tits, have it on a pcc sbr and is now my favorite weapon system. Paired with a yhm r9 this thing is hearing safe, great tone, not super gassy. Love it. Waiting for a mat9 model.
Novox SD, PSA AR-V.
Awesome, just AWESOME! Install in my PSA AR-V was dead simple. Used an NBS 9.25" suppressor fatty HG and YHM R9. Fired factory winchester and federal 115, 124gr FMJ supers and S&B 140gr flat nose subs. Zero feeding issues and all were crack free:) I also shot a bunch of my 115gr reloads that crono around 1200fps or so depending on barrel length. all were sub sonic. I also shot some absolute garbage Seargent Major brand 115gr steel case. I've crono'd these hitting around 1300fps...the extreme spread is like 100fps hahaha. These were also surprisingly sub sonic at 70 degrees with about 80% humidity. I shot some more on a colder afternoon, 35'ish degrees and 60% humidity, most went super sonic. Again, garbage ammo thats borderline +P. Once again, I had zero luck getting the AR-V to feed hollow points, this will be the third barrel, I've tried OEM CZ mags, PSA, Magpul and a few other CZ scorpion pattern mags. I just can't get thru a full mag with any HP I've tried inculding 124/147 HST. Has nothing to do with the Novox barrel! I could not be happier with my purchase, thanks for making SD in a plain Jane AR9 pattern simple and affordable Novox! I'm already thinking my colt stick mag AR9 needs to be Novox'd next!
RSO said it was the quietest Scorpion he's ever heard, I'm inclined to agree.
Took my Nexus Evo to the range with the X-SD barrel and Wolfman, the RSO thought I was on the other side of a wall. It shot exceptionally well, palm sized groups off-hand at 25 yards through a red dot, the barrel will be more precise than the shooter in almost every case. Fired mostly 124gr NATO rounds, every one of them was very much subsonic in 50 degree weather so no need to worry about that. Every part is very well machined, threads are all tight and feel like a Class III fit, overall well worth the money to get the SD gun of my dreams without the SD nightmares. I look forward to seeing what other guns get the X-SD treatment option in the future.

Got everything in fast shipping very easy install made the range day so much fun all ammo we tried came out subsonic and had zero issues with maxim roller delayed buffer system definitely something everyone needs to own
X-SD for Scorpion and AR9
This is the most cost effective and solid way to turn your suppressed PCC into a much quieter platform. High quality kit, great craftsmanship and superb company and owner. This is not SD for the Poors, this is SD for everyone. I have a kit for both platforms and am buying another AR9 kit. Repeat customers are a good indicator of a stellar product. Take the plunge and make your ears and friends happy.
